What happens between ‘yes’ and ‘live.’
Five phases, every time. Here's exactly what happens, and roughly how long each part takes, before you spend a euro on anything else.
01 — Choose your package
Day 0.
You read a service page, pick a tier, and check out online. No discovery call is needed to find out what anything costs — the price you see is the price you pay, ex. VAT.
02 — Kick-off
Days 1–2.
Once payment is confirmed, you get a short intake form: the content and images you have, any brand assets, examples you like, and (for redesigns or care plans) access to your existing site. We confirm a start date.
03 — Design & build
Typically 5–40 working days.
Timing depends on the service and tier — see each service page for its specific figure. The work happens here. You get a shared preview link and a defined number of revision rounds, stated on the package you bought — never an open-ended back-and-forth.
04 — Review
Built into the timeframe above.
You check the work on your own devices — including your phone, since most of your visitors will be on one — and use your included revision rounds.
05 — Launch & handover
1–2 days.
The site goes live on your domain. You receive the source files and admin access — nothing is held back. If you’ve added a Care Plan, it picks up from here.
Most projects, start to finish
Most projects go from order to live site in 2–5 weeks, depending on the service and tier. Landing pages are the fastest (as little as 5 working days); e-commerce builds are the longest (up to 40 working days for the largest tier). Each service page states its own figure.
What we need from you
- Content — the words and images for your pages, or a note that you'd like help sourcing them.
- Brand assets, if you have them — an existing logo, colours, or fonts. If you don't, Branding & Logo Design can come first.
- Access, for redesigns and care plans — a login to your current site or hosting so we can audit or maintain it.
- Timely feedback during the revision window — the fastest projects are the ones where feedback comes back within a few days of the preview link going out.
Tooling & handover
At handover, you get the site's actual source files and full admin access — not a locked account you're paying to keep unlocked. If you want the technical upkeep handled after that, Website Care Plans covers backups, updates and monitoring month to month; if not, the site is entirely yours to run.
Frequently asked questions
We’ll hold your project’s slot for a reasonable period and check in — an inactive project doesn’t lose its included revisions, but very long gaps may need a new start date to fit the schedule.
